The YouTube API Blog announced that YouTube has released a new embed code which uses the <iframe> tag.
The new code looks like this:
<iframe type=”text/html” width=”640″ height=”385″ src=”http://www.youtube.com/embed/VIDEO_ID” frameborder=”0″>
But what is the benefit of this new release? YouTube says that this new code will let your viewers chose to either see the content in Flash or HTML5 players.
The additional benefit of this new style is that mobile phones will eventually be able to use embeds instead of using a built in player.
